The deal, plainly

You install ours, set up your timeline, and pair with your partner. The timeline itself is free. We give you the app and keep it running; you look after your device, your Apple ID, and who you choose to invite.

Your responsibilities

• —Only invite someone you actually want inside your private timeline — pairing shares everything in it with them.
• —Keep your Apple ID and device secure; your iCloud is part of how ours syncs.
• —You're responsible for the content you add, and for having the right to share any photos you include.
• —Don't reverse-engineer the app in ways the App Store's Developer Program License prohibits.

Our responsibilities

• —Ship the features we describe, and keep the app reliable — iCloud uptime is Apple's, app quality is ours.
• —Notify you of material changes to the app or these terms in the app.
• —Never knowingly hold your content or your encryption keys.

Purchases

The Lifetime add-ons unlock (love notes and every future add-on) is a one-time purchase — not a subscription — billed through Apple's App Store. Apple's refund policy applies. When one of you buys it, the unlock is shared with your partner for as long as you're paired; if you unpair or break up, the buyer keeps it and the shared access ends. The timeline stays free either way.

Liability

ours is provided "as is," to the extent the App Store's Developer Agreement and your local consumer law allow. We're a small, independent operation; we take your data seriously, but we can't insure against things outside our control, such as the loss of an Apple ID that only you hold.
