What we don't collect
Your timeline. Your event titles and dates, your notes and love notes, your photos, your names, the day you met — none of it reaches us in a form we can read.
Everything you put in ours is encrypted on your device before it leaves it, and syncs through your own iCloud account. We do not run a server that stores your content, so we never see it. We also never receive your encryption keys — they live only on your and your partner's devices.
What we do collect
- —App Store purchase records, when the app checks whether the Lifetime add-ons unlock is active. Billing is handled entirely by Apple; there is no ours account and we hold no payment details.
- —Anonymous crash reports, only if you opt in through iOS's Analytics & Improvements setting. We do not embed any third-party analytics or tracking SDK.
- —Support correspondence, if you email us — kept only as long as needed to help you.
You and your partner
ours pairs exactly two people. What you share flows directly between your two devices, end-to-end encrypted; a couple is two, and there is no room for a third. If either of you leaves, the link is closed — your copy of the shared history stays on your device, and your partner's stays on theirs.
iCloud & Apple
Your encrypted data syncs through your own iCloud account using Apple's sync infrastructure, and Apple's privacy terms apply to that storage. ours is an independent third-party app and is not affiliated with Apple beyond being a developer on their platform.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete anything we actually hold about you — support messages or purchase-entitlement records — by emailing hello@ourdays.life. We'll respond within 30 days. Your timeline is different: it lives in your iCloud, encrypted with keys we do not have, so exporting or deleting it happens inside the app, not by asking us. We can't read it, change it, or delete it for you, because we never store it.
Children
ours is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we ever change this policy in a way that materially affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll say so in the app.
